CJ DeLaGarza

CEO/Owner

CJ DeLaGarza is a licensed athletic trainer with a distinguished career spanning more than two decades in sports medicine and athlete development. A proud graduate of Moody High School (Class of 1995), CJ went on to earn his Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Athletic Training from Texas A&M University–Kingsville in December 2003.

Following graduation, CJ began his professional journey as an intern with the Atlanta Braves, gaining invaluable experience working with elite-level athletes. His career path then took him to the Rio Grande Valley, where he continued to refine his skills in athletic training.

From 2008 to 2009, CJ served with the Texas Rangers Baseball Club, providing professional-level athletic care during consecutive Major League Baseball seasons. His expertise and dedication have also made him a long-standing associate member of Justin Sports Medicine since 2010, where he has contributed to the health and performance of rodeo athletes nationwide.

In addition, CJ worked with the Olympic Development Soccer Program from 2011 to 2020, helping cultivate and protect the health of some of the nation’s most promising young soccer talent.

Today, as CEO and Owner of Texas Elite Athletic Training, CJ draws on his broad experience across multiple professional sports to provide high-quality athletic training services, specializing in injury prevention, performance optimization, and rehabilitation. His career reflects a lifelong commitment to keeping athletes at every level healthy, strong, and ready to perform.
